Sunshine Bunny
88 degrees
Rubbed on sunscreen
Slid on swimming suit and
Headed to Fort Greene Park
*
Found a spot sun center
Laid out towel peeled off skirt
The birds chirped and squirrels played
Spring mute summer anticipating
*
The sun kissed my feet
Caressed my calves and thighs
A welcoming touch; I was held
Attentive under heat's submission
*
Cirrus clouds play dancer above.
A puff of cumulus clouds as
Its spectator. In the east a helicopter
Spins in the distance
*
Realize I am alone but not lonely
Realize desire to control obsessions
Excepts
For Love
*
Wind blows in whipping
a smile.
Is this happiness? Trees are
Intricate but simple like me.
*
Another obsession: Happiness.
Happiness, not contentment. No man
Should ever be content. Aware is
realistic and happiness.
*
Fell asleep. Dreamt eclectic dreams
And the unimaginable all while awake
The sun embracing, holding radiating
Enriching.
*
Today is one for the records.
